fungal disease

To avoid Fungal diseases, like powdery mildew, 
•   Do not overhead water, using a drip or watering can
•   Remove fungal infected parts of plants or dead/damaged twigs
•   Disinfect tools with tea tree oil or household disinfectant when pruning.  
TIP: Fill a large old jar with disinfectant that you can easily disinfect your tools between pruning without wastage.

treating general fungal attacks

IN SOIL
Plant bio fumigant green manure crops such as marigolds or mustard seed.  These must be dug into the soil before maturing 

FUNGAL ATTACK ON PLANT LEAF
1 tsp bicarb soda
1 litre skim milk
pinch of coneys crystal
METHOD
Mix and spray 

For POWDERY MILDEW try skim milk and water at a ration of milk to water 9:1.

treating specific fungal attacks

collar rot

Collar Rot is a soil fungus which attacks base of the tree.
METHOD
Clear mulch and keep dry
